Sourcing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reducing the total sourcing cost, by finding new suppliers and working with existing suppliers, for ongoing improvements of cost and payment terms\
- Ensuring best sourcing practices in New Product Development or other large projects
- Facilitate, together with the supply chain, In/Out sourcing decisions
- Sourcing support during relocation of new products to other sites
- Focus on the improvement of suppler performance measures (DPPM, RDSL, PDSL)
- Engage/support in US global sourcing initiatives (e.g. Net Material Inflation and others)
- In collaboration with supply chain, ensure supplier agreements support for our DOH/ITO goals. All new contracts support ABC guidelines from US global
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
• 1-3 years of experience from a similar role in a procurement/sourcing function;
• Technical or commercial background
• It helps a lot if you are a person with analytical skills;
• And, of course, you should master both Danish and English, in writing and orally.
